Bicycle committee backs expanded voting with planning board seat

Lincoln Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee calls for expanded voting with planning board representation. The committee unanimously expressed preference for increasing its voting membership from four to five members, including a Planning Board representative, while designating Select Board and Parks and Recreation appointments as non-voting liaisons under a proposed charter revision. In parallel business, the committee addressed pending state speed camera legislation, preferring bills H.3754 and S.2344 over the Governor's FY27 budget rider for their municipal flexibility, and requested the Select Board send a letter to state legislators advocating for both measures and indicating its preference ranking.
