CFREE approves April minutes, discusses energy initiatives

Lincoln energy group shifts focus to batteries over solar amid rate changes. The CFREE Working Group met May 6 and unanimously approved April minutes while discussing how battery storage may prove more impactful than solar promotion, given forthcoming Time of Use rates from Eversource. The town is pursuing feasibility studies on batteries at eight municipal buildings through the Massachusetts AMP program.

Presentations on school photovoltaic systems and home batteries are being arranged.
