Housing Commission · Meeting of July 2, 2026

Lincoln Housing Commission directed a work halt on a Sunnyside Road renovation after discovering extensive mold and standing water. Maintenance Coordinator Neil Feinberg reported that a July 2 site visit at 28 Sunnyside Road revealed standing water and mold in a crawl space beneath the vacant unit, with additional mold under flooring and on structural beams. The Commission directed the contractor to stop all work pending professional assessment and remediation.

The Commission also reviewed lead remediation at Tower Road properties, agreeing to proceed with exterior vinyl siding at 65 Tower Road pending confirmation from the lead inspector and town counsel. The Commission also learned MAPC can no longer support the Housing Production Plan process and directed a subcommittee to develop a request for proposals for a new consultant.
