Conservation Commission Backs Rodenticide Ban Home Rule Petition

LINCOLN — Conservation Commission votes unanimously to support a rodenticide ban petition. Save Lincoln Wildlife member Trisha O'Hagan presented evidence of anticoagulant rodenticides' effects on predators and alternatives; the petition goes to Annual Town Meeting. The Commission unanimously approved tree removals at Matlock Farm (three hazardous trees in field) and at the Community Center site (multi-stem white pine in Riverfront Area, with mitigation planting), and approved The Food Project's sublicensing of town land to Codman Farm and Nubia, Inc., through 2027.
Conservation staff reported the town applied for a $150,000 MassDOT grant to advance design and permitting for a deteriorating culvert at Stony Brook under Lincoln Road, coordinated with a planned 2026-2027 water main upgrade.
