Conservation Commission Endorses Dark Skies Zoning Bylaw
Conservation Commission · Meeting of March 11, 2026
Lincoln Conservation Commission endorses Dark Skies zoning bylaw for Town Meeting. The Conservation Commission voted 5-1 on March 11 to endorse proposed amendments to the town's Dark Skies lighting ordinance, with one member abstaining. Unanimously, the Commission authorized staff to send letters in support of House Bill 965 and Senate Bill 2721, which would restrict anticoagulant rodenticide use by licensed pesticide applicators.
The Commission also unanimously voted to prepare a supporting statement for a related citizen petition to be presented at Town Meeting and authorized staff to sign a Letter of Agreement with the Sudbury Assabet Concord River Watershed Cooperative Invasive Species Management Area Weed Warrior Program.
