Conservation Commission issues enforcement orders for unpermitted work

LINCOLN — Conservation Commission issues enforcement orders and backs farm development at Umbrello Field. The Commission issued Enforcement Orders against two property owners for unpermitted work in protected buffer zones: unpermitted vegetation cutting at 76 Old Sudbury Road in Bordering Vegetated Wetland, and unauthorized construction of a boardwalk, retaining wall, and fence at 41 South Great Road. At Umbrello Field, the Commission unanimously approved farm infrastructure plans for Hannan Healthy Foods Farm, a 75-by-34-foot covered structure requiring state grant funding for a cooler unit by June 30.
Property owners at 41 South Great Road were ordered to cease work or file a Notice of Intent within 60 days.
