LINCOLN — Dark Skies Committee endorses Commons letter, advances bylaws for January Select Board presentation. The Committee approved a letter to the Building Inspector documenting noncompliant lighting at the Commons and endorsed a revised bylaws draft. A working group including Susan Mygatt, Buzz Constable, Louise Bergeron, Sherry Haydock, and Ken Hurd is researching low-lumen diffuser lights as permissible options while reorganizing term definitions.
A public information forum is set for January 15, and new DPW head Steve Olson is receptive to street lighting discussions.
