Lincoln Dark Skies Committee finalizes Town Meeting presentation. Sherry Haydock will present the Dark Skies Amendment at Town Meeting in a 10-minute slot, second to last on the agenda, with slides due March 25. The committee is pursuing endorsements from the Conservation Commission, Save Lincoln Wildlife, the Historical Commission, the Lincoln Land Conservation Trust, the Select Board on March 23, and the Planning Board on March 24.
A town-wide lighting questionnaire drew 173 responses, with 163 completed in full, identifying excessive light spillover to neighboring properties and negative wildlife impacts as primary concerns.
