Lincoln Green Energy Committee recommends Municipal Aggregation Plan update. The committee voted 7-0 to advise the Select Board to begin the 30-day public notice process mandated by the Department of Public Utilities, with the understanding that any substantive changes to the Green Energy Choice program would trigger a second public input phase before implementation. Battery storage feasibility studies by Camelot are underway for six buildings, with potential expansion to two additional sites and the Community Center.
Eversource will provide interval data at no cost, and installation grants can cover up to 75 percent of project costs; the committee aims to bring completed projects to the March 2027 Town Meeting vote.
