Green Energy Committee approves prior minutes, advances Green Energy Choice timeline planning.

Green Energy Committee · Meeting of June 4, 2026

LINCOLN — Green Energy Committee advances Lincoln Green Energy Choice planning. Select Board liaison Jennifer Glass reported that a Town Meeting vote will be required for the revolving fund, with the SB reluctant to expand the October special town meeting agenda, pushing any vote to March 2027 at earliest. The committee, with six members present, approved four prior sets of minutes unanimously and discussed options for pausing voluntary Class 1 renewable energy credit purchases pending revolving fund establishment.

Rodman reported that Lincoln's electric school buses have been delivered to the dealer and will begin operating as a grid power source in June under the state's vehicle-to-grid program.
