Lincoln's Housing Commission unanimously approved renovation work for a vacant ADA-accessible unit at 28 Sunnyside Road. Co-Chair Rachel Drew reviewed contractor cost proposals with members; the commission voted unanimously to award the painting and flooring installation to Trident Contractors, selected for its lowest bid and complete scope of work. The Commission also unanimously authorized up to $4,000 for flooring materials and related expenses, with estimated costs near $2,600.
The project has committed approximately $15,000 from the Housing Commission Revolving Fund, with the unit expected to return to occupancy by fall pending construction completion and the affordable housing lottery period.
