Lincoln Housing Commission deferred a maintenance coordinator vote pending conflict-of-interest review. The Commission convened April 14 to vote on hiring a maintenance coordinator, but members raised concerns that the candidate, Neil, had participated in drafting the Request for Proposals for the position. Co-Chair Jena Salon and Member Terry Perlmutter requested explicit confirmation from Town Counsel that the arrangement did not create an actual or perceived conflict.
Co-Chair Rachel Drew agreed to follow up with Dan Pereira, who had consulted with Town Counsel and the State Ethics Commission. No vote was taken.
