Library Books Herstorian Gracia Collins Rich for Lincoln250 Talk July 20

LINCOLN — The Lincoln Public Library has set three community programs for Monday, July 20, headlined by a Lincoln250 talk on the Black experience of the American Revolution featuring independent herstorian Gracia Collins Rich.

The library's Lincoln250 series continues July 20 with "Celebrating America's 250th: The Black Experience of the Revolution," a talk from independent herstorian Gracia Collins Rich exploring Black Americans' role in the Revolutionary era. The program is part of the library's ongoing slate of exhibits and events tied to the nation's semiquincentennial.

The same day, the library's Mystery Mondays group takes up "The Coroner's Lunch," Colin Cotterill's novel featuring an aging Laotian coroner, part of the group's ongoing "Sleuths of a Certain Age" theme. Earlier in the day, the library hosts "Craft & Chill: Vision Boards," a relaxed drop-in crafting session open to library patrons.
