LINCOLN — The Lincoln Library Trustees voted unanimously to join a joint resolution with town offices and schools, presenting the town's three governing entities as unified partners. The motion passed 4-0 after Town Administrator Tim Higgins introduced the initiative. The Trustees also opened recruitment for a new trustee member following the May 22 farewell reception for longtime member Peter Sugar, who served more than 20 years overseeing capital decisions and facilities expertise.
The Library received a $1 million Climate Leader Accelerator grant for the HVAC project and a $1,980 Massport Community Summer Jobs Program Grant supporting two summer student pages. The Friends of the Library approved $42,635 in fiscal year 2027 programming funding.
