Lincoln approves $2,327 Community Center door hardware change order

LINCOLN — Community Center Building Committee authorizes $2,327 hardware change for universal design compliance. The committee voted 17-1-1 to upgrade door handles and levers to dark bronze finish, addressing a miscommunication between designer and hardware consultant over color contrast requirements with pale door finishes. Construction continues with foundation and utility work complete; framing is expected in late February.
The FLCOA fundraising subcommittee reported $1,345,000 applied to town bond, $79,666 available from post-vote fundraising, and $50,739 pledged by the Von Mertens Family for rain garden landscaping.
