Historical Commission · Meeting of July 7, 2026
Lincoln Historical Commission cleared Walden Woods buildings for demolition and approved two design applications. The board unanimously determined that a Cape-style house and garage at 2 Concord Road, built in the mid-1940s or early 1950s, lack historical significance, enabling the Walden Woods Project to proceed with demolition and restoration under a state Conservation Restriction that already mandates removal. The Historic District Commission unanimously approved a Certificate of Non-Applicability for painting the Pierce House at 17 Weston Road in Chesterfield Buff with white trim, and unanimously modified a Certificate of Appropriateness to authorize window additions at Codman Farm Barn B at 58 Codman Road.
