Lincoln's Council on Aging reported progress on the new Community Center, expected to complete by December 14 with January occupancy, capping a $1,345,000 fundraising effort by the Friends board. The joint COA and Friends meeting heard announcements of expanded senior programming: seventy-five Lincoln households will receive summer CSA vouchers valued $400 to $500 through a partnership with four local farms, and the council hosted a Massachusetts Division of Unclaimed Property event recovering between $1,000 and $8,000 for senior dining participants. Director Abigail Butt reported on the board's rebranding effort ahead of the move, including a new logo reflecting the Community Center's roof lines and redesigned newsletter.
The board deferred Bemis Hall reuse planning until after relocation.
