Lincoln Library Sets Vision Board, Mystery and History Programs

Lincoln Public Library has three programs on the calendar for Monday, July 20, headlined by a Lincoln250 lecture on the Black experience of the American Revolution from independent historian Gracia Collins Rich.

The library's "Celebrating America's 250th" series continues Monday with a talk from independent historian Gracia Collins Rich on the Black experience of the Revolution, part of Lincoln's ongoing slate of programming tied to the nation's semiquincentennial.

Also on Monday, the library's Mystery Mondays group takes up "The Coroner's Lunch" by Colin Cotterill for its "Sleuths of a Certain Age" discussion, and the library hosts "Craft & Chill: Vision Boards," a relaxed drop-in crafting session.

Residents heading to any of the three programs should plan extra travel time: the library says ongoing construction on Library Lane is making access to the building and its parking more difficult, with details posted at lincolnbigdig.com.
