COMMUNITY & ARTS

The Lincoln Public Library's Board of Trustees has announced an opening for a new trustee, with a particular interest in finding a candidate who wants to serve in that capacity. Residents interested in shaping the library's direction are encouraged to apply.

The library also notes that ongoing construction continues to affect access to Library Lane and the parking area. The library advises patrons to plan for additional travel time when visiting. More information on the construction project is available at lincolnbigdig.com.

The Lincoln Public Library hosts Super Story Time on Tuesday, July 7 — an expanded version of the popular weekly storytime, running 45 minutes. On Wednesday, July 8, the library's Knitting & Stitching Group meets for anyone who enjoys knitting, crocheting, embroidery, or hand sewing.
