Chair Tara Mitchell told the April 16 remote meeting she signed the guaranteed maximum price contract with Consigli after attorneys finalized a full page of pandemic-cost language, under which Consigli first absorbs COVID-19-related costs through its contingency and the town reimburses up to 25 percent above that. Members voted 5-0 to accept $5,019 in meal-assistance donations, to set tentative grade-eight graduations for Hanscom on June 9 and Lincoln on June 10, and to admit seven preschool and 16 K-8 employee children plus up to 10 new METCO students. Administrator for Business and Finance Buck Creel projected the food service revolving fund could finish roughly $96,000 negative before reimbursements, and recommended using operational savings to backfill it. A LEAP request from Director Katie Hawkins to reduce the $32,150 license fee was tabled pending fiscal analysis.
