LINCOLN — Parks and Recreation Committee approves $1,100 overage on tennis court reconstruction bid. Price Landscape and Construction's $103,800 bid exceeded the CPA-approved $102,700 budget, with Rob Stringer moving for unanimous approval to pay the difference from the Revolving Account pending contractor reference verification. Codman Pool hiring is complete with contracts returned by April 17 and pool opening targeted for April 21; a $70,000 return line repair approved by town meeting will be deferred to summer's end to avoid disrupting opening.
Athletic fields remain closed pending soil testing and weather but are expected to open the week of April 6th under new field maintenance contractor Lawn and Fields of Boston. Summer camp sessions are full across most programs, with financial aid totaling $45,000 from Codman Trust, MCC, and state sources.
