LINCOLN — Parks and Recreation Committee backs $11,480 in immediate spending and refreshes capital plan. The committee unanimously approved $1,000 in supplies for the May 27 Pride Celebration Event and $10,480 in direct summer camp financial aid after 43 children from 34 families requested nearly $95,000 in assistance. The updated five-year capital plan, approved unanimously, adds an all-in-one utility and clay court maintenance vehicle budgeted at $35,000 for FY28 and $10,000 in pool lifeguard chair replacements, alongside projects extending through FY33 including pool bathhouse roof and window work totaling $70,000 in FY32.
