Planning Board · Meeting of April 28, 2026

LINCOLN — Planning Board approves tree removal at Doherty's Garage with monitoring and fencing. The board voted 3-2 to allow removal of two dead trees and one declining tree at 161 Lincoln Road, with conditions including temporary orange fencing around replacement plantings (five-foot buffer), annual arborist monitoring per a SavaTree report from February 19, 2026, and a requirement that screening plantings remain in perpetuity or be replaced in kind. Reid McIntyre of Highland Fleets and two abutters raised concerns about impacts to remaining vegetation and site screening near the new electric vehicle chargers and bus parking area.
