Planning Board continues 31 Old Concord Road site plan review pending site visit

LINCOLN -- November 9, 2021, Lincoln Planning Board delays 31 Old Concord Road decision, sets weekend site visit. The board voted 5-0 Tuesday to continue site plan review of a proposed 7,246-square-foot, two-and-a-half-story home by applicants James Dwyer and Andrew Zucker to Nov. 23 at 7:30 p.m., after members said they needed to walk the 3.3-acre lot together. Member Bob Ahlert questioned the up-to-nine-foot fill driven by a Board of Health-approved septic system above a 177-foot high water table, saying he would "prefer to see a house spread out more and lower than have this thing on top of a hill, a manufactured hill." Dwyer said building without the fill would produce a home "I don't think anybody wants us to build." Twenty-four neighbors submitted a letter opposing the scale; abutters Judd Crawford and Jean Risley raised wetlands, road-runoff and driveway sight-line concerns. The board separately approved a T-Mobile eligible facilities request to swap antennas at the 85-foot tower behind Tracey's, conditioned on retention of the aviation-light shield.
