Planning Board continues Ally Specialty Veterinary Center sign hearing to April 14.
Planning Board · Meeting of March 24, 2026
Lincoln Planning Board continues sign hearing for Ally Specialty Veterinary Center. The Board postponed the public hearing on Michelle Custead's application to April 14, requesting revised sign designs after residents Maria O'Brien and Bob Domnitz raised questions about parking, Dover Amendment eligibility, and site plan requirements. In a separate vote, the Board endorsed the proposed Dark Skies Zoning Bylaw Amendment for Town Meeting in a 3-1 decision, with Co-Chair Gary Taylor voting against citing enforcement concerns about nighttime lighting shut-offs and fixture replacement.
Planning staff reported that an Expression of Interest for Comprehensive Plan grant funding will be submitted, with estimated development costs ranging from $150,000 to $300,000.
