LINCOLN — Planning Board unanimously endorsed zoning bylaw Article 34 to delete Section 12.2, the W-Wetland and Watershed Protection District, bringing the amendment to Town Meeting. Conservation Director Michelle Grzenda said the Conservation Commission endorsed the change, noting that state and local wetlands regulations now protect most interests previously covered by the town's district. The Board also unanimously approved a minor site plan modification at 59 Conant Road for landscape changes and conversion of a greenhouse to a covered outdoor kitchen, contingent on updated koi pond lighting plans subject to Planning Director Paula Vaughn-MacKenzie's approval in consultation with Board co-chairs.

Co-Chair Lynn DeLisi objected to a proposed 10 p.m. cut-off for new lighting in the Dark Skies Bylaw draft, calling it unfairly punitive to compliant property owners while leaving existing noncompliant lighting unregulated.
