LINCOLN — Roadway and Traffic Committee approves prior minutes and examines resident safety concerns. Chair Kim Bodnar convened the hybrid meeting with eight committee members and three residents present. Acting Police Chief Jon Wentworth reported MassDOT will trim vegetation at the Brooks Road and Route 2A intersection and confirmed a full redesign is planned for 2029.
DPW Superintendent Steve Olson reported that Eversource, responding to 183 resident objections, removed 69 trees from its removal list, with final recommendations pending arborist review. Olson also noted the Bedford Road drainage project concludes mid-June, with spring 2027 repaving to follow; the town has engaged a firm to conduct a pavement assessment across all roads to prioritize future improvements.
