Roadway and Traffic Committee approves February minutes, addresses tree removal hearing.

Roadside & Traffic Committee Agenda · Meeting of April 16, 2026

LINCOLN — Roadway and Traffic Committee advances tree removal hearing and addresses traffic concerns. The committee voted unanimously to approve February meeting minutes and moved forward with Groups 1 and 2 of proposed tree removals for an April 22nd public hearing at 7pm in the Donaldson Room, while removing Group 3 from the agenda due to procedural violations. Acting Police Chief Jon Wentworth and DPW Superintendent Steve Olson addressed resident concerns at Route 2A and Brooks Road, mapping jurisdiction across MassDOT, Lincoln, and Concord.

The committee also confirmed that no-parking signs on Wheeler Road were placed by a private resident, not the Town, and committed to removing them. A slip lane at Ballfield Road and Lincoln Road will close from April 27 through May 15 to evaluate traffic impacts.
