Select Board · Meeting of July 13, 2026
Lincoln's Select Board unanimously approved the Pierce House Committee's fiscal 2027 operating budget and appointed Laura Gustavson to the Green Energy Committee for a one-year term. The Pierce House, with reservations extending into 2027 and 2028, invested approximately $182,000 in site improvements in the past fiscal year and will receive Community Preservation Committee funding for exterior restoration in FY2027. In a joint multi-board discussion, the Select Board met with representatives from the Finance Committee, Capital Planning Committee, Library Trustees, and Green Energy Committee to review updated technical and financial analysis of a proposed Library HVAC system replacement project, narrowing gaps between competing cost estimates while deferring any Special Town Meeting recommendation pending further public engagement.
The Board directed staff to consult with Town Counsel regarding possible modifications to the Lincoln Green Energy Choice Program to fund local initiatives.
