LINCOLN — Select Board defers major decisions, plans town meeting. Chair Jennifer Glass, Member Kim Bodnar, and Member Jim Hutchinson deferred votes on the Lincoln-Sudbury Regional Agreement update and the library HVAC replacement, citing need for further review and consultation. Town Administrator Tim Higgins reported that federal energy tax credit estimates have been revised downward, creating a projected funding gap of $200,000 to $500,000 on the preferred ground source heat pump project.
The Board agreed not to advance either HVAC article at Annual Town Meeting and instead to continue due diligence and regroup afterward. The Board also deferred its position on the Planning Board's Dark Skies bylaw revision until March 23, 2026, pending final language refinement. Bedford Road drainage work is expected to begin within two weeks with Chapter 90 funding secured.
