LINCOLN — The Lincoln Transportation Coalition unanimously approved revised charges and membership structure for itself, the Board of Pedestrian and Bicycle Advisory Committee, and the Regional Transportation Committee. Chair Margaret Olson reported that the slip lane pilot closure has produced no traffic backup on Lincoln Road and no complaints from residents. The Drainage Project remains on track to finish in eight weeks, while a contracted vendor will complete a Pavement Condition Index analysis within two months, with results expected in late summer or early fall; John Vancor cautioned that a similar repaving effort 20 years ago cost $6 million and the current project is expected to cost at least double that amount.
