LINCOLN — Transportation Coalition reviewed major capital projects at its September 17 meeting. Chair Margaret Olson and IMEG consultant John Vancor presented a Ballfield Road improvement project budgeted at approximately $2 million to $2.1 million, featuring an 8-foot paved path around the school's center field, improved crosswalks, and safety features. A townwide pavement analysis was underway with investment scenarios expected in October; the capital plan's $12 million road repaving placeholder appears likely insufficient.
The coalition also reviewed updates on the Town Hall Exchange crosswalk and Water Main Project, expected to complete by year's end.
