Lincoln Roadway and Traffic Committee heard the Water Main Project Phase 2 is ahead of schedule. DPW Superintendent Steve Olson reported that completion could occur later this calendar year, with a lane kept open near Lincoln Station to serve local businesses. Test pits at the Old Town Hall Exchange crosswalk could begin September 23rd, potentially allowing the project to start in mid-October, though pricing has not been finalized.
Officer Seth Gordon reported a traffic study completion at Old Concord Road and noted the committee is planning a resident education campaign about the state's safe-passing law for motorists.
