Zoning Board of Appeals voted unanimously to continue a deck-removal and addition hearing. The board deferred the special permit case for 148 South Great Road, M/P 160-48-0, to October 1, 2026, on a motion by Chair David Summer seconded by Member Eric Snyder. In a separate matter, Alex Benik withdrew his special permit application for 4 Storey Drive, M/P 150-3-0, after determining the proposed site faced unworkable constraints: proximity to the front property line, an adjacent leach field, and a vernal pool with required setbacks.
Benik said he would consult the Building Commissioner about an alternative location. The board also approved minutes from its August 6 meeting.
