LINCOLN -- December 20, 2010, Lincoln selectmen appoint full-time firefighter and join six-town regional housing office. The board unanimously appointed call firefighter Dave Appleton to a full-time slot opened by John Whalen's departure to Sudbury and Ben Juliano's promotion to lieutenant, and named three new call firefighters, Ryan Patrician, Andrew Rokes and Danny Martins, on Chief Cattoni's recommendation. The board also authorized Town Administrator Tim Higgins to execute an intermunicipal agreement with Bedford, Concord, Lexington, Sudbury and Weston creating a shared housing administration office hosted by Sudbury at roughly $11,700 annually to Lincoln, conditioned on Housing Commission sign-off. Selectmen renewed the Lincoln Wine and Cheese package store license for one year despite an unresolved frontage easement owner Blakely said his mortgage holder must approve, and signed on to a National Trust for Historic Preservation amicus brief in Concord's Hangar 24 FAA appeal, due Friday.
