LINCOLN — September 14, 2021 — Lincoln Planning Board clears deCordova event-space conversion 4-1 and renews three Crown Castle towers. The board approved as a minor change the Trustees of Reservations' plan to remove the upper staff parking lot at 51 Sandy Pond Road, eliminating 5,388 square feet of impervious surface and creating a landscaped event area governed by a 2019 Select Board memorandum on hours and noise. Member Bob cast the only no, arguing abutters across Flint's Pond deserved "a formal process" rather than a minor-change review; Co-Chair Lynn DeLisi and member Margaret Olson noted events have run on the site for roughly eight years without complaints.
