Select Board approves restaurant ownership change and limited Sunday jazz brunch music
LINCOLN — March 22, 2021 — Lincoln Select Board approves restaurant ownership change and a summer jazz brunch on the green. The board voted 3-0 Monday to approve the transfer of Lincoln Station Partners to sole owner Lindsey Parker, through her Pimento LLC, after Second Wind Restaurant Group's departure. A second 3-0 vote amended the entertainment license to allow modestly amplified live music for Sunday jazz brunch only, expiring Sept. 15. Member Jennifer Glass urged caution, saying the board needs to be "sensitive to the neighborhood," and Member Jonathan Dwyer pushed a "try and see approach" rather than a blanket evening license. Town Administrator Tim Higgins said amplification will be held to the state standard of no more than 10 decibels above ambient, measured at the nearest residence. The board also unanimously promoted Stacy Carter to Conservation Planner and Emma Coats to Land Manager, and closed the May 15 Town Meeting warrant at 40 articles.
