LINCOLN — March 18, 2013 — Lincoln selectmen authorize new MSBA school filing and finalize Codman Farm license. The Board of Selectmen voted unanimously March 18 to let Chair Noah Eckhouse sign a Statement of Interest to the Massachusetts School Building Authority for the Lincoln School ahead of the April 10 deadline, and a contingent letter withdrawing the 2009 SOI by March 26. Selectman Peter Braun called the SOI "going to the doctor's office and sort of listing what your complaints are." The board also executed a license agreement with Codman Community Farms Inc. capping a two-plus-year negotiation that replaces a 1973 handshake. Assistant Town Administrator Anita Scheipers reported the Green Energy Technology Committee has secured roughly $414,000 in outside grants and hit the 20 percent municipal energy-reduction target; Solarize Mass added 313.8 kilowatts across 32 installations.
