Planning Board adjourns May 26 meeting after lone public comment
LINCOLN — May 26, 2020 — Planning Board adjourns May 26 meeting after Bedford Road traffic warning from resident. Only the closing public comment and adjournment vote were captured in the available recording. A resident identified as Jane, who lives north of Route 2, told the board that Bedford Road "has already got a lot of traffic on it" and is "the only road that's a two-way road" serving as an alternative to the state highway for residents in her area. She backed the concept of a bus route from the commuter rail station to Minute Man National Historical Park, with possible future extension to deCordova, but urged the board to pair any plan with low-cost traffic-calming such as stop signs added during paving projects. Co-Chairs Gary Taylor and Lynn DeLisi and member Margaret Olson were among those voting to adjourn.
