Lincoln Planning Board Approves Four Months of Overdue Minutes at Quiet July Session

LINCOLN — July 14, 2026 — Lincoln Planning Board clears a backlog of four sets of minutes and launches priority-setting for a new comprehensive plan. The board, meeting remotely on July 14 with no public attendees, voted unanimously to approve minutes from May 26, June 9, June 16, and June 23, approving the June 23 set subject to a staff addition noting that the board had found an accessory dwelling unit application on Brooks Road met applicable zoning requirements — a change sought after Co-Chair Gary Taylor said the minutes had become "so summary that somebody coming back can't really tell what the substance of the discussion was." Staff reported that the town's Dark Skies bylaw has been approved as written by the Massachusetts Attorney General, and that a four-unit building at 150 Lincoln Road is being altered to match its original approved plans after applicant Fabio Andrade withdrew a ZBA variance request.
