Planning Board approves Davidson Drive home, continues Browning Lane site plan

LINCOLN — September 24, 2024 — Lincoln Planning Board approves Davidson Drive home and modifies Weston Road driveway fix, continues Browning Lane to October. Members unanimously approved revised plans for a new single-family home at 66 Davidson Drive, subject to Board of Health septic approval, after the applicant realigned the driveway, dropped floodlights, and added an 18-inch retaining wall and screening plantings supported by abutters at 64 and 70 Davidson. The board continued 12 Browning Lane — a 7,846-square-foot home and 1,447-square-foot art studio on a 191,879-square-foot lot — for two weeks after abutter Bruce Campbell said his kitchen would look directly at the new house and asked for taller screening and preservation of a large cedar and a large oak. On 58 Weston Road, members approved up to 45 feet of sloped granite curbing along a shared driveway for erosion control but rejected the applicant's proposed two-foot pull-off after abutter Sarah said she "just doesn't see the reason for it at all." Liaisons also reported that this year's $240,000 Complete Streets grant will fund a Route 117 crosswalk at Old Sudbury Road.
