Planning Board continues Davison Drive hearing, seeks shorter septic wall

LINCOLN -- August 13, 2024, Lincoln Planning Board continues 16 Davison Drive site plan review, demanding a smaller septic wall and better screening. The board voted unanimously to continue the hearing on Jonathan Rapaport's proposed 5,072-square-foot home to Sept. 24 and set a Sept. 7 site visit, after Co-Chair Lynn DeLisi told architect Adolfo Perez and landscape architect Tom Ryan of Ryan Associates to drop proposed floodlights and return with a plan that reduces or eliminates an eight-foot retaining wall around the five-bedroom septic field. Abutters Phil Nixon and Mark Long objected to the project's scale and to the leaching field uphill of their homes; Nixon warned a wall failure could become "more of a waterfall." DeLisi signaled the board would allow grading into the normally protected 10-foot no-disturb buffer if it produced better abutter protection. The board separately endorsed an ANR splitting a 13.67-acre Henry Hoover-Whale-house parcel into 2.25- and 11.42-acre lots for applicant CJ Doherty.
