Planning Board renews two AT&T wireless permits, approves Old Concord Road home 4-1

LINCOLN — November 23, 2021 — Lincoln Planning Board renews two AT&T cell permits and approves a contested Old Concord Road house 4-1. The board on Nov. 23 unanimously granted 10-year renewals to New Cingular Wireless PCS LLC for existing antennas at 9 Mary's Way and 169 Lincoln Road, withholding waivers on three submittal sections to keep AT&T's search-ring disclosure and FAA-notification obligations on the record. AT&T representative Tim Green said the company is scouting a site near the Lincoln-Weston line but called it "not a five-alarm fire." On 31 Old Concord Road, the board approved James Dwyer and Andrew Zucker's site plan 4-1, requiring six 8- to 10-foot evergreens for the Risleys and DeNormandys and removal of three failing trees. Member Bob Domnitz voted no, saying the septic field rests on 1995 and 2005 test data and "it's the trees" he could not accept. The town also confirmed a $400,000 Rural and Small Town Grants award for South Lincoln wastewater design, the program's largest.
