Lincoln Planning Board elects Dominitz chair, DeLisi vice chair
LINCOLN — April 19, 2022 — Lincoln Planning Board ousts chair Margaret Olson in 3-2 vote, installs Bob Dominitz. Member Lynn DeLisi nominated Dominitz, saying "we need a change in the board"; member Eve seconded. Olson, who voted no along with Gary Taylor, said her objection was rooted in a years-ago site-plan review she went through as an applicant that "cost $10,000 and took three months" and was "little different than bullying." Dominitz pledged a narrow role focused on moderating meetings and warned colleagues "it's not a lifetime appointment." The board then elected DeLisi vice chair 5-0 and named her liaison to the new community center committee. In a work-plan discussion, Olson proposed relaxing the accessory-apartment bylaw — raising the square-footage cap and allowing them by right within main buildings — as a first step toward form-based zoning preserving Lincoln's two-acre-lot character.
