Planning Board approves cedar fence at 285 South Great Road
LINCOLN — July 8, 2025 — Lincoln Planning Board unanimously approves six-foot cedar fence at 285 South Great Road. The board voted 4-0 Tuesday under Section 18.5 of the zoning bylaw to permit an unpainted white cedar fence built in two sections — an 86-foot run and an eight-foot section — set 10 feet back from the public way and behind an existing stone wall. Co-Chair Lynn DeLisi presided, with Co-Chair Gary Taylor on Zoom and members Rob Ahlert and Craig Nicholson in person; staff reported no abutter comments. The board also approved its June 24 minutes 4-0. Most of the remaining hour was spent trying to schedule a long-range planning working session; Taylor urged the board to "start from where the long-range planning effort left off most recently," referencing the town's roughly 2010-2012 comprehensive plan. The next regular meeting is July 22.
