Planning Board endorses Nature Link, authorizes co-chair to read statement at Town Meeting
LINCOLN — June 24, 2025 — Lincoln Planning Board endorses Nature Link and sends co-chair to read the statement at Town Meeting. Meeting by Zoom on June 24, the board voted unanimously to adopt its written endorsement of the redevelopment and, in a second unanimous roll call, authorized Co-Chair Lynn DeLisi to read the statement from the floor the next night. Member Susan Hall Mygatt backed both motions but objected to the practice of multiple boards reading endorsements, calling the Historical District Commission's involvement "outrageous" while conceding planning was "in the wheelhouse." Co-Chair Gary Taylor said the statement frames the board's expectations of the developer in permitting and resolves "issues and concerns that have been out there for 20 years." The board also approved its June 10 minutes as amended.
