Lincoln School Committee approves $4.1 million in Hanscom reserve sub-account transfers

LINCOLN — June 18, 2025 — Lincoln School Committee approves $4.1M in Hanscom reserve transfers and refreshes community center statement. Acting on a Collins Center review, the committee unanimously moved $551,000 into the Hanscom operating reserve, $640,000 into special education, $650,000 into capital, and $2,278,422.87 into the unemployment fund. A separate roll-call vote sent $494,707 from FY25 Hanscom funds to the town to close a Middlesex Retirement assessment variance flagged by the Sequel Group for FY24 and FY25. Members readopted their 2024 statement on the proposed community center with an added sentence applauding school administration — Superintendent Perry Graham, Business and Finance Administrator Angela Wang, Rob Ford and "most especially Brandon Kelly" — for prepping "either eventuality." Susan Taylor will deliver the statement at the June 25 Special Town Meeting; Chair Matina Madrick will be out of the country.
