School Committee · Meeting of November 5, 2026
LINCOLN — The School Committee heard special education and staffing reports and took no action on either. Administrators said 100 Lincoln and 123 Hanscom students had IEPs, with 28 served in specialized in-district programs, and an administrator said out-of-district placements cost "at least 90 to $100,000 per student per year." The staff deployment report showed about five fewer faculty positions than last year, mostly at Hanscom, and administrators said the district will move to three-person middle school teams. The committee was told the LEAP program may stay in the school building as the community center project slips toward the end of February 2027.
Members approved three sets of minutes by roll call.
