Lincoln School Committee rates Superintendent McFall proficient across all four standards
LINCOLN — June 20, 2013 — Lincoln School Committee gives Superintendent Becky McFall a proficient rating across all four standards in her first-year evaluation. Chair Jennifer Glass synthesized individual reviews into a single summary that praised McFall's leadership on the educator evaluation pilot and FY14 budget priorities but flagged burnout risk, citing "the normal demands of getting up to speed plus the school building projects." The committee also appointed architect Martin Dermody to a three-year term on the Library Board of Trustees over fellow applicant Lori Michaels, approved a $400,000 transfer to the town's GASB 45 fund, and accepted Business Administrator Buck Creel's end-of-year plan returning at least $152,820 from the Lincoln campus and $120,000 to the Hanscom Reserve Fund. Student Services Administrator Stephanie Powers reported the district received zero citations in special education from DESE's Coordinated Program Review — one of just four districts of 40 reviewed to do so.
