LINCOLN — March 20, 2014 — Lincoln schools set May 1 for first full-scale evacuation drills on both campuses. Administrator for Student Services Stephanie Powers and Lincoln Police Officer Ian Spencer told the School Committee that five rallying points have been identified on the Lincoln campus and four at Hanscom, marked at Lincoln by permanent solid-colored signs approved by the Conservation Commission. Powers said the goal is to finish the Lincoln drill within 20 minutes of "purposeful walking." The committee, chaired in absentia by member Tim Christenfeld, also approved a $712,981.64 payroll warrant, marked Jen James's final meeting, and heard from departing DeCordova liaison Catherine Cluett after 10 years in the role.
